Roles and Responsibilities :
Curation of Nutrient-Gene Interactions
- Identify and curate relevant nutrition-gene interactions aligned with the project's research objectives and database requirements.
Genetic Data Analysis
Perform variant annotation, develop polygenic risk scores (PRS), and conduct pathway analysis to understand the implications of genetic variants in the context of nutrition.Collaborative Integration
Work closely with project coordinators, nutrition scientists, and AI developers to integrate genetic findings with clinical and dietary recommendations.Interpretation of Genetic Findings
Analyze and interpret genetic results with a focus on nutrient metabolism, nutrient deficiencies, and diet-related chronic diseases.Knowledge Base Development
Contribute to the creation of a population-specific nutrigenetic knowledge base by synthesizing curated and analyzed data.Research Support & Documentation
Assist in drafting research publications, technical reports, and deliverables for funding agencies and grants.Coordination with Bioinformatics Teams
Collaborate with bioinformatics and statistical analysis teams for genetic data management, quality control, and advanced analytical support.Skills Required
Nutrigenetics, variant annotation, polygenic risk scoring, pathway analysis, gene-nutrient interaction curation
