Position SummaryAs an experienced online educator (LINC Fellow), the candidate will work as an independent contractor of LINC and serve a diverse international student body for Undergraduate programs studying at premier Australian and Asian universities in the domains of Engineering. The educator will be responsible for the day-to-day academic support and delivery responsibilities, working under the guidance of an experienced university faculty member. Additionally, the LINC Fellow will receive specialised training and active mentorship from LINC’s team to excel at online teaching.

Roles & Responsibilities :
Academic guidance to a group of 30+ undergraduate on-campus students;Orientation and support in study planning;Support in report writing and research skills;1 : 1 problem-solving sessions;Guidance on relevant reference material;Guidance on using tools;Timely responses to student queriesLINC Fellows will be expected to promptly interact with students over email, chat, and telephone from locations of their convenience (e.g. home, office etc.).
Desired candidate profile :
PG / Doctoral degree in PG / Doctoral degree in
Mechanical Engineering ,At least 5 years of teaching experience and / or corporate experience in any of the following fields at a leading university or college (note : at least 3 years formal teaching experience at a university or college is a MUST);Comfort with
Fundamentals and engineering mechanics,
fundamental laws of motion and their application to analyzing and designing simple structures. The candidate will work on design and build projects to understand mechanics in real-world structures, while collaborating in teams to explore professional engineering responsibilities, including accountability, liability, and sound design practices., computer programming using MATLAB;Empathetic, ambitious, warm and outgoing personality willing to work closely with people from diverse cultures;Proficient in English language;Must possess a working laptop and have access to high-speed (>
2 MBPS) stable internet connection;Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms for interacting with students including host university’s LMS and LINCtrac (training on these platforms will be provided).
The candidate needs to be available between 12 PM to 6 PM everyday for 12 weeks.
