Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Job Details

Role - Engineer

Experience – 3-5 Years

Industry Preferred – Manufacturing (Semi-fab or OSAT facilities)

Job Location – Dholera / Jagiroad / Bangalore

Job Description and Responsibilities

Develop and validate simulation models of manufacturing equipment to enhance performance and reliability in semiconductor production

Modelling of OSAT equipment (pick-and-place, wire bonding, etc.), Simulation of equipment performance and failure modes, Integration with digital twin and predictive maintenance systems

Simulate equipment operations and interactions, analyse throughput, downtime, and energy usage, support virtual commissioning and testing

Work with equipment vendors and process engineers, validate equipment models with real data, Provide simulation support for equipment selection

Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in Equipment simulation tools, PLC / SCADA integration, Omniverse for equipment behaviour modelling

Knowledge of digital twin platforms, simulation platforms, IoT platforms, system integration, data analytics, data visualisation, and project management tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skill

Strong communication and documentation skills

B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Equivalent

Know-how of AI-based equipment modelling, simulation and control systems preferred

Software Skills

NVIDIA - Omniverse

Simulink, Modelica, Ansys, and / or equivalent

Python and related libraries, and / or other programming language

MS Office Apps – World, Excel, Power Point
