Senior WordPress Designer & Front-End Builder (Expert-Level Only)

Tarlton Technologies is building a nationwide empire of SEO-first digital platforms—from roadside assistance to real estate tech. We're looking for a senior-level WordPress designer who’s more than just a pixel-pusher. We need a design assassin—someone who doesn’t just build pages, but builds experiences that convert, scale, and dominate.

This is NOT a role for beginners. If you're still watching YouTube tutorials on padding vs. margin, do not apply.

✅ You MUST Have :

5+ years of real-world experience designing WordPress websites from scratch—not just editing pre-built templates.

Deep understanding of Figma-to-WordPress translation, responsive design, modern UX / UI principles, and conversion-focused layout strategy.

Mastery in Gutenberg (preferred), GenerateBlocks, or Cwicly—and can build a page block-by-block without Elementor or crutches.

Experience designing for scalability—sites with hundreds of dynamic pages, not just a 5-pager for a local bakery.

The ability to build custom page templates and layouts with ACF and custom post types.

Strong command of typography, spacing, flow, and design that performs, not just looks pretty.

Comfort working inside Git, WP Engine, and using Cloudflare, CDNs, and S3 to optimize performance.

Knowledge of SEO best practices, accessibility (WCAG), and Google Core Web Vitals.

The kind of person who double-checks mobile, tablet, desktop, and wide-screen layouts before declaring anything “done.”

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing :

Taking full ownership of design and page creation across multiple WordPress brands under the Tarlton Technologies umbrella.

Designing new websites, landing pages, dynamic templates, and rebuilding outdated pages with modern UX / UI.

Collaborating with a tech-savvy founder, back-end developers, and AI assistants to deploy SEO-optimized, clean, scalable sites.

Auditing and improving existing design systems and site performance.

Working with block-based builders, reusable components, and modular design structures.

💥 Bonus Points If You :

Have worked with massively dynamic WordPress setups (ACF + custom PHP + CPT + database-driven logic).

Know your way around basic PHP, CSS Grid / Flexbox, and can tweak code without breaking a sweat.

Have experience designing SaaS, marketplaces, or lead-gen platforms with real business results to show.

Built out custom design systems or UI kits for large websites or product teams.

You rely on Elementor, Divi, or drag-and-drop themes as your only tool.

You need hand-holding on layout, spacing, or mobile responsiveness.

You think “good enough” is acceptable.

We’re building digital skyscrapers, not cookie-cutter brochure sites.
