Responsibilities :
Understand electrical architecture of HEV / EVDefine HEV / EV Battery Management System architectureConceptualization, Design and Development of x EV Lithium-Ion Battery Pack ControlsRequirement engineering of BMS with Fu Sa complianceBMS Function architecture & control algorithm creation such as SOC, SOH, cell balancing, life optimization, safety controls, cell characterization, energy management, thermal managementWork with x EV system team to identify the BMS electrical interfaces, calibration and testing team to generate battery system DVPISO 26262 compliance for BMS, DFMEAAdopt model-based design approach in BMSBMS Controls Software Verification and ValidationCoordination with other design departments suppliers & related agencies for design and development activitiesTechnical / Functional Competencies :
Knowledge of types of cells / modules, chemistry, electrical characteristics, battery packs architectures etc.Knowledge of design, safety & test standards of Lithium-Ion batteryWorking experience of battery management system hardware / software design, configuration and testingModel Based Design, experience with Matlab Simulink / State flowECU testing, excellent electrical / electronic troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of ISO 26262 & ISO21434Exposure to Hybrid / Electric Powertrain Control Design, development, Verification and Validation. Familiarity with on board diagnostics.Knowledge of HEV / EV Regulations such as AIS 038 & other relevant regulationsBehavioral Competencies :
