Job description

Job Title : Regional Sales Manager (RSM) West Region.

Location : Mumbai.

At Prasuma, we are looking to employ a driven and experienced Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to identify and develop new customers and distribution channels within the assigned geographical area of the West Region (based in Mumbai).

The ideal candidate will be committed to driving sales, expanding market presence, and building long-term customer relationships.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills are essential.

Your Key Responsibilities.

  • Identify market potential to establish new accounts, develop and manage an efficient distribution network for sales.
  • Implement processes in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects, and develop sustaining long-term relationships with customers.
  • Develop and deliver monthly and quarterly plans to drive volume, value, and market share in the assigned West Region.
  • Regularly monitor and analyse sales data to understand the gap and opportunities & build plans based on that.
  • Collect customer, market, and competition data to help provide feedback and sales insights.
  • Identify both struggling and successful sales policies and explore ways to improve on Sales Metrics.
  • Travel to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness as needed.
  • Interview and train new sales employees, and oversee other onboarding tasks as We Are Looking For.
  • 10-12 years of relevant experience required, preferably in the FMCG Food Industry.
  • Proven sales experience and knowledge of General Trade as well as Modern Trade, including

familiarity with current trends in sales methods.

  • Strong negotiation and sales skills with an ability to communicate across different levels.
  • Experience with customer service and good problem-solving sales, general trade, modern trade, HORECA, brand awareness, communication.
