Senior AWS Data Engineer_Exp : 5+ Years

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Application Developer or in similar software engineering roles
• Advanced skills in Python; strong SQL and cloud-native development experience (AWS)
• Proven expertise in architecting scalable data pipelines (ETL / ELT) OR experience working with extensive data pipelines
• Advanced proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
• Skilled with Docker and AWS cloud services (Lambda, EC2, ECR, ECS, AWS Batch)
• Experience building, integrating, and maintaining REST APIs and data workflows, including working with JSON
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to independently onboard / train new engineers and contribute to knowledge bases
• Strong background in code reviews, monitoring system performance / stability, and proactively refining solutions
• Self-motivation and reliability in remote work settings, including effective time management with distributed teams
