Summary

The Engineer / Engineering Supervisor

will act as an initial product engineer in the CommScope Goa

manufacturing facility.  The role will over time build a small

engineering team, and guide and support them in the execution of

the R&D function for passive fiber optic products. The team

will be responsible for Continuation engineering activities for

CommScope’s data center business for Asia customers and supply

chain.

This role is a hands-on Engineer

who can execute as a product engineer, but who can also develop and

executing human resource strategies to achieve established

objectives. Additionally, the role will identify and propose

solutions to technical roadblocks and barriers to system

improvements. They will also help the organization manage customer

product quality, manufacturing, and other issues related to the

group's products and processes.

Support and lead product

engineering team for optical connectors, cable assemblies, panels,

and other products in Asia.

Collaborates with the

team in the Goa facility and other international locations to

improve performance, manufacturability, and

cost.

Manages the assigned

projects and activities of the team and defines work roles to

Recruits new employees

as the team workload grows

relevant Engineering experience
