Job descriptionJob OverviewThe Accounts Payable Analyst will process invoices for payment in a timely manner, ensuring accurate general ledger distribution and compliance with established expenditure procedures.Key Responsibilities : Coordinates and resolves Merchandise billing issues with assigned vendors, including retail stores, distribution centers, merchants, and vendors to resolve discrepancies.Reviews and resolves open dropship liabilities, receipts not vouchered, and deduction discrepancies.Processes open return transactions and credit memos from vendors.Prepares journal entries for non-system-created payments.Monitors invoice processing discrepancies and facilitates solving reoccurring issues.Reconciles vendor statements at least quarterly.Responds to vendor inquiries via phone, email, and voicemail.Develops effective working relationships with personnel in other departments to ensure proper coordination of invoice processing and vendor payments.Facilitates the shutting down of vendors by performing a complete account reconciliation.Proficiency in [insert relevant software or systems]; Excellent communicationand problem-solving skills;
