About COE

M S K A’s COE Practice supports Firms client–serving Assurance teams with performing testing procedures including substantive and controls testing, vouching, verification etc. across industry sectors, including manufacturing, real estate, information technology etc.

Firms’ COE enables its client–serving Assurance teams to meet their audit requirements.

As part of our COE Team, you would be the main point of contact for the tasks assigned by the client serving assurance teams and be responsible for test of controls, substantive testing etc. Also, you will be responsible for maintaining the timeliness and quality of deliverables along with managing day to day operations of those engagements.

Position - Delivery Head, Centre of Excellence (COE) – Audit & Assurance

Location - Pune

Qualification - Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent with 10-15 year of experience

Experience :

Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent with 10–15 years of experience in audit delivery or shared services environment

Proven track record in managing large teams, driving process transformation, and working with global stakeholders.

Strong analytical, communication, and change Management skills.

Strong Project Management and Leadership skills

Candidate should have expert level knowledge of accounting (IGAAP, IND-As) and auditing standards and should be able to practically apply these concepts.

Have knowledge and experience of ensuring excellent quality audit documentation, audit work papers, etc.

Should possess good interpersonal skills and be able to manage / interact with team

Delivery Head Profile :

Oversee day-to-day delivery of audit support services, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with firm methodology.

Lead and develop a multi-tier team structure (Team Leads, Associates), fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Drive standardization, automation, and best practices across processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.

Serve as the key interface between Business units and COE, ensuring service alignment with engagement needs and expectations.

Implement robust metrics and dashboards to monitor productivity, utilization, and service quality.

Build a strong talent pipeline through structured training, on the job training, and engagement programs.

Ensure adherence to internal controls, data confidentiality, and audit quality standards.

Develop a strategy to increase COE’s footprint across locations and engagements

As a Delivery Head, you will be required to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Centre of Excellence supporting audit delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality execution, efficiency, and scalability of operations aligned with firm standards and business objectives.
