Job description

Hiring for Citrix Server Admin

  • Experience : 5-8 years
  • Location : Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Citrix XenServer / Xen Hypervisor environments
  • Manage virtual machines (VMs), templates, snapshots, and storage repositories
  • Migrate virtual machines from other hypervisors (e.g., VMware) to Citrix XEN hypervisor
  • Monitor system performance and address issues related to CPU, memory, disk, and network usage
  • Perform regular patching, upgrades, and system tuning of the hypervisor environment

    • Required Skills

  • Citrix XenServer : Experience with Citrix XenServer / Xen Hypervisor environments
  • Virtualization Concepts : Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, storage networking, and resource scheduling
  • Linux and Windows : Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Scripting : Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation tasks
  • Monitoring Tools : Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Zabbix

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Citrix Certifications : Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA-V) or higher
  • Citrix Cloud and VDI : Experience with Citrix Cloud, Citrix VDI, and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)
  • Other Hypervisors : Knowledge of other hypervisors like VMware ESXi or KVM
  • Cloud Platforms : Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
