Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kanpur for a Retail Store Manager. The Retail Store Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, including managing a team, driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, and implementing retail strategies to meet business goals. The role includes responsibilities for inventory management, handling employees, maintaining store standards, and managing retail loss prevention strategies to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to ensure a seamless and positive experience for customers.
• Proficiency in Store Management and Retail Loss Prevention to effectively oversee operations and minimize losses.
• Strong Inventory Management skills including stock monitoring, ordering, tracking inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers to maintain optimal product availability.
• Experience in Billing Operations and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, including processing transactions, generating invoices, managing cash handling procedures, and ensuring accurate financial records.
• Excellent Communication skills to interact with customers and lead a team efficiently.
• Strong leadership abilities and problem-solving skills to manage a dynamic retail environment.
• Previous experience in retail management or a related role is highly preferred, ideally in home décor, furniture, or lifestyle retail environments.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is advantageous.
