SAP ABAP Proxy Developer

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Proxy Developer with strong expertise in ABAP and SAP Proxy integration to design, develop, and maintain SAP interfaces using ABAP Proxies (Inbound & Outbound). The ideal candidate will work closely with SAP functional teams, integration (PI / PO / CPI) teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions for system-to-system communication.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and enhance ABAP Proxy interfaces (both synchronous and asynchronous) between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Design and implement service interfaces using SAP PI / PO, CPI, or directly via SAP ABAP Proxies.
• Create custom ABAP programs, classes, and function modules to support proxy communication.
• Handle exception / error handling, logging, and performance tuning of ABAP Proxy interfaces.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams (SD, MM, FI, etc.) to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support data mappings and transformations between XML / JSON formats and SAP structures.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist with UAT and go-live support.
• Document technical specifications, interface designs, and integration mappings.
• Troubleshoot issues in production and non-production environments related to proxy communications.
• Stay updated with SAP best practices, technologies, and integration strategies (SAP BTP, S / 4HANA, Cloud Integration, etc.).
