Fleet Superintendent Job Description

This is a senior management role responsible for overseeing the overall performance of the fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international rules and regulations, monitoring vessel performance, shipboard maintenance, and repair programs.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Fleet Manager and other departments to ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental, and ethics policies. This includes proposing a continuous performance improvement plan, keeping the Fleet Manager advised of problems arising on managed ships, and assisting in emergency responses as required.
