[Urgent] Management Information Systems Specialist

Job descriptionPrepare and publish daily planning reports for operations and supply chain teams. Generate weekly and monthly reports / scorecards covering KPIs (supply chain, vendor performance, inventory, and service levels). Consolidate data from multiple sources and ensure timely availability of MIS to management. Automate and simplify reporting formats in Excel / NAV / Power BI for efficiency. Support ad-hoc data and reporting requirements from management. Maintain proper documentation of changes in item master and pricing. Support internal audits and compliance requirements by providing accurate data. Suggest improvements in data entry and reporting processes to minimize errors and manual work. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred). Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formatting; macros knowledge is an advantage). Ability to handle large data sets and maintain high accuracy. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong coordination and communication skills to work with multiple teams. Detail-oriented and process-driven mindset. Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, IT, or related fields. 1–3 years of experience in Master Data Management / MIS / Reporting in FMCG, Manufacturing, or related industries.

Key Responsibilities
Master Data Management
- Create, update, and maintain Item Master in NAV (product codes, descriptions, categories, pack sizes, etc.).
- Maintain and update vendor master data, including pricing and other key attributes.
- Record and regularly update transit days for DC–vendor combinations.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency by running regular validations and checks.
- Support resolution of data-related issues in collaboration with sourcing, planning and purchase team.
