Job Purpose :
Incumbent will be part Secured Loan- MSME - Risk & Policy Team for DMI Consumer Credit team. Core responsibilities would include evaluating creditworthiness of the clients by analyzing the financial performance of the clients for secured products primarily Loan against property
Accountability : Credit underwriting
- Underwriting Secured loans – Loan against property proposals as per the laid down policies and procedure
- Identify & assess the risk in the proposal, provide adequate credit support to the business, approve credit applications
- Conducting PD and field visits to understand the client requirements and check credit worthiness.
- Scrutinizing the financials and relevant documents and checking the credit history of the client
Policy Support formulation
- Suggest policies modifications, wherever required, for new partners and channels (Acquisition & Line management)
- Identify and re-engineer processes on an ongoing basis and take corrective action in a timely manner without disrupting regular lending workflow
- Work with tech team to design test and implementation for any changes (partner related or regulatory) in policies.
Portfolio Management
- Constantly Evaluate portfolio performance.
- Benchmark to Industry Standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Working closely with business sales managers to maintain a balanced and profitable credit portfolio.
- Providing guidance to the business team w.r.t areas of policy and processes would be required on an ongoing basis.
- Interacting with cross functional teams and ensuring correct implementation of credit policy guidelines in origination system and decisioning platforms
- Participating in internal projects that improve credit process efficiency and effectiveness to assist in achieving key strategic objectives
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification : Postgraduate degree in management / CA
Skills : Digital Assessment, Tech-savviness, Advanced Excel
Work Experience
6-8 Years of relevant experience for Senior Manager
2-5 Years of relevant experience for Manager
