🔶 Position Summary

The Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team provides advisory services in areas such as accounting change, regulatory support, accounting processes, and controls optimization. We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Optimization professional with strong functional knowledge of reporting platforms like Workiva, Axiom, or similar tools. In this role, you will support global clients in optimizing their reporting processes, enhancing automation, and improving reporting quality and efficiency.

The Senior will be responsible for delivering high-quality work in accordance with EY Global Standards while collaborating with teams across global markets.

⚒️ Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and conducting discovery workshops to assess current reporting operations.

Document existing reporting processes, including workflows, data sources, tools, and manual activities.

Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Support in defining end-state reporting process objectives and optimization goals.

Assist in developing solution architecture integrating reporting platforms with existing systems.

Contribute to designing reporting platforms, including building templates, data connectors, and workflows.

Support data integration planning to ensure consistent and accurate data usage.

Create and configure report templates within client reporting platforms according to requirements.

Implement validation checks and rules to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) for new reporting processes and systems.

Develop and deliver training programs to help end-users adopt new tools and systems smoothly.

📚 Qualifications & Skills Required

Must-have :

CA, CPA (US), ACCA (UK), or MBA in Finance with 2–6 years of relevant experience.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, including :

Financial close reporting

SEC reporting & iXBRL tagging

ESG reporting

Tax & SOX reporting

Other statutory and regulatory reporting

Hands-on experience with Workiva, Axiom, or similar reporting platforms.

Familiarity with Wdesk & Wdata modules in Workiva.

Strong skills in current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) process analysis.

Expertise in process optimization, data optimization, data analytics, and data management.

Preferred :

Working knowledge of ETL tools such as Alteryx.

Understanding of data integration, transformation, and data modeling techniques.
