Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Lead / Senior Java Developer with 8–12 years of strong backend development expertise. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers, design and deliver scalable enterprise applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, secure, and efficient software solutions for Greenko’s digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Java-based enterprise applications.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems using Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Guide and mentor a team of junior / mid-level developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive code reviews, performance tuning, debugging, and optimization of applications.
• Implement DevOps practices (CI / CD pipelines, GitHub / Jenkins) for smooth releases and deployments.
• Ensure application security, reliability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements for system design and development.
• Contribute to technical architecture discussions and support cloud migration strategies (AWS / Azure / GCP).
