Job description

We are actively hiring for Skilled AS400 developers for a global banking client.

Years of experience : 2+ years, 5+ years (relevant)

Location : Pune / Hyderabad (Hybrid)

  • Available to join in 15 or less days

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications on the IBM iSeries (AS400) platform.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write efficient and optimized RPG programs using RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2 / 400.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and support.
  • Maintain documentation and follow best practices in development and version control.

    • Required Skills :

  • Strong hands-on experience in RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2 / 400 .
  • Good understanding of ILE concepts and modular programming.
  • Familiarity with tools like PDM, SEU, SDA, RLU , and ServiceNow (for change requests).
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of development tasks.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
