Project Manager-Solar [Ground mounted)

Summary of the Role : An incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of under-development Solar Projects, along with handling all communications with EPC Contractor and their claims against EPC Contracts.

Responsibilities :

 Responsible for overall planning and execution of projects as per business plan.

 Capable of managing turnkey EPC Contractors and other subcontractors.

 Ensuring safety of plants and can handle project independently within schedule, safety & quality.  Daily coordination of Civil / Electrical / Power Evacuation packages with site team and contractors.  Able to prepare MIS report, Daily progress report, monthly progress report.

 Preparation and release of PO / WO.  Account re-conciliation of vendor's / contractor's statements.

Required Qualifications :

 Bachelor's degree in engineering and / or master's degree in engineering, Project Management. Building science or in a relevant field with relevant experience in Project Management.

 PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.

 8-12 years in EPC Construction, preferably in Solar IPP / EPC.

Preferred areas of exposure :

 Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.

 Proven experience as Project Manager / Construction Manager.

 Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of ERP.

 Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
