Creative Collaboration for AI Development

About the Research Initiative :

We are inviting artists to participate in a unique research project that combines their creative work with cutting-edge AI technology.

The Common Lives Project aims to collect data on complex, real-world activities through wearable cameras and video recordings.

As an artist participating in this project, you will be responsible for wearing a head-mounted camera to capture your daily activities over a period of 5 days within a 2-week window.

You will need to record a minimum of 7 hours per day, with flexibility to take breaks and pause the camera for privacy. At the end of each day, you will spend around 2 hours reviewing short clips, deleting or anonymizing footage as needed, and uploading it securely.

This project offers a unique opportunity for artists to contribute to the development of human-centered AI research while maintaining control over their data.

Key Requirements :

• No children (under 18) present or visiting during the recording period
• All adults in the space must be fluent English speakers and consent to being recorded
• Must live in a private, self-contained apartment, building, or indoor work environment
• All household members must agree to appear in the footage
