Job descriptionWe are looking for a qualified and experienced Company Secretary to join our organization at Kanpur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and supporting the Board and senior management in corporate governance matters. Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and other applicable corporate laws. Prepare and maintain statutory registers, records, and filings with ROC and other authorities. Draft, review, and circulate agendas, minutes, and resolutions for Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and General Meetings. Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies as required. Assist in corporate governance practices and ensure adherence to internal policies. Support the Head of Finance and Director in legal, compliance, and secretarial matters. Handle corporate filings, disclosures, and documentation in a timely manner. Stay updated with changes in corporate laws and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws, compliance, and governance.
- Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
