Support legal and compliance operations at Newton School by assisting in contract management, policy review, compliance monitoring, and tracking regulatory updates, while adapting to the needs of a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements.
• Supporting in dispute resolution and customer escalations.
• Maintaining and updating legal repositories.
• Conducting legal and compliance research.
• Reviewing and updating compliance policies and procedures.
• Assisting in operations monitoring for non compliance with internal standards.
• Monitoring regulatory updates and assessing business impact and keeping stakeholders informed about the same.
• Preparing compliance reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Supporting internal audits and compliance checks.
• Maintaining records and logs of compliance activities.
• Assisting in setting up and maintaining compliance frameworks, including contract reviews for legal alignment.
