Instrumentation & Control Systems Expert

to join our

Renewables Engineering Office

in Bangalore.

About the Role

As an

Instrumentation & Control Systems Expert , you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of

SCADA, control, and monitoring systems

for

Solar PV, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

projects. You will prepare in-house

basic design engineering packages , review external designs, and ensure seamless integration, real-time monitoring, and efficient control of renewable energy assets.

Your focus will be on

cost optimization , system reliability, and compliance with international standards.

⚙️

Key Responsibilities

Develop

SCADA architecture

for renewable energy systems, including RTUs, PLCs, servers, and software platforms.

Design

network topologies

and IO lists to ensure communication between inverters, wind turbines, BMS, substations, and central SCADA.

Configure and troubleshoot

communication protocols

such as Modbus, IEC 61850, DNP3, and OPC-UA.

Implement

real-time monitoring, control, and data acquisition systems

with alarms, trending tools, and reporting features.

Ensure

compliance with IEC, IEEE, NERC , and local regulations, including cybersecurity measures.

Prepare and execute

Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)

and

Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) ; support commissioning.

Analyze operational data to

identify optimization opportunities

and support O&M teams.

Maintain

document control, departmental policies , and drive

continuous improvement initiatives .

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree

in Electrical Engineering (Control Systems).

Master’s in Industrial Automation

/ SCADA preferred.

Relevant

SCADA or industrial control certifications

are a plus.

10–12 years

of experience in

Renewable Power and Utilities .

Proficient in :

AutoCAD, Wonderware, WinCC, GE iFIX

or similar.

Expertise in :

Networking technologies (LAN / WAN, fiber optics, VPNs)

Substation Automation Systems (SAS) & grid compliance integration

Battery Management System (BMS) integration with SCADA

Hybrid renewable systems (Solar + Wind + BESS)
