We are seeking an

Office Manager & Supervisor

to join our Tax Operations team. As a Tax Operations Manager & Supervisor you will be responsible for :

Responsibilities :

All return assembly management : supervising collating of income tax returns, extensions and all associated tasks in respective local office(s) and national pools

All E-filing support, including rejection & schema validation error handling in respective local office(s) and national pools. Retention of E-file authorizations and acceptances in data repository

Form 1099,1042 and 8027 e-filing in respective local office(s) and national pools

All SafeSend support, including SafeSend assembly and delivery to clients in respective local office(s) and national pools

All SurePrep support, including creation of SP binders & verification process in respective local office(s) and national pools

All XCM support, including creation & movement of tasks, all XCM reporting and due date list management for respective local office(s). Updates per PIC and 2nd Responsible requests

All New client support, including support with all tax platforms in respective local office(s) and national pools

Support all tax operations SWAT teams

All India support – permissioning

Management & closing of deadlines for respective local office(s) and back-up support for regional and national footprint

Understanding, troubleshooting & support of all Tax Practice policies and procedures, support adoption across all offices

Training, management and mentoring of Coordinators, Tax Operations in respective local office(s)

Support of newly integrated firms into respective office(s) and region

Communication across tax operations team within region

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or another related field preferred.

5+ years of experience in the tax / accounting industry.

Knowledge of CaseWare, Axcess Tax, CCH Document, GoSystem, GoFile Room, Avalara, SurePrep, SafeSend, CCH Workflow (XCM), and XCM Calendar.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Outlook, Word and Excel). Superior Excel skills are preferred.

Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well as a team player.

Must be able to juggle multiple projects.

Ability to meet tight deadlines and effectively handle stressful situations.

Must be available to work overtime and weekends during the spring and fall busy season.
