About the Role
We are looking for a skilled SDET with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, Playwright, and CI / CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have a strong testing mindset, ability to design robust automation frameworks, and collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality, scalable software. Experience or interest in AI-driven testing solutions is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience - 2+ years of experience
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable automation scripts for UI, API, and functional test coverage.
- Integrate automation suites with CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with developers to promote a shift-left approach and ensure early defect detection.
- Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and enforce coding / testing best practices.
- Analyze test execution results, debug failures, and work with teams for quick resolution.
- Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and overall quality engineering processes.
- Explore opportunities to integrate AI-based testing tools, auto-script generation, or intelligent defect prediction (good to have).
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Java (OOPs, Collections, Streams).Solid experience in Selenium WebDriver automation.Experience with Playwright (Java / JS) for modern UI automation.Experience in testing REST APIs (Rest Assured / Postman).Proficiency in CI / CD pipeline setup and integration.Experience with Git, branching strategies, and version control best practices.Good understanding of testing methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC / STLC.Experience with frameworks like TestNG / JUnit, Maven / Gradle.Good to Have
Exposure to AI in testing, LLM-based automation, or auto-test generation tools.Understanding of cloud environments (AWS / Azure).Experience with Docker or containerized test execution.Performance or security testing exposure.
