Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Customise, configure, integrate and support commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications for web, mobile and desktop usage.
  • Ensure all applications meet accessibility standards : WCAG 2.0 / 2.1 Level A & AA, WAI-ARIA, Apple AA+ guidelines.
  • Perform accessibility audits and testing using assistive-technologies such as VoiceOver (Mac / iOS), JAWS, NVDA, ChromeVox.
  • Create and maintain Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs) and documentation of accessibility compliance.
  • Write front-end code (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) with accessibility as a first-class requirement;

ensure cross-browser and assistive-device compatibility.

  • Work on mobile / desktop front-ends (native / hybrid) as needed, ensuring accessible UI / UX.
  • Develop backend logic or integrations in Azure environment using Python, JavaScript / Node.Js, C#, or other relevant languages.
  • Work with databases : MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle Database;

    • write SQL, optimise performance, and integrate with COTS solutions.

  • For financial / analytics applications : participate in configuration and support of Oracle Hyperion EPM / Oracle EPM systems and related data flows.
  • Act as technical lead / senior analyst : guiding junior developers, reviewing code, overseeing application deployment, monitoring and support.
  • Integrate COTS solutions with SharePoint, ASP.NET, Node.Js frameworks as required.
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance and best practices for enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, accessibility specialists, UX teams, QA and DevOps to deliver inclusive and robust solutions.
