Japanese - Pharma

Job Title : Japanese Language Specialist (JLPT N3 / N2) Pharma Domain (Preferred)

Location : Bangalore / Chennai (Work from Office)

Experience Required :

Minimum 1 year of experience in a Japanese language role if JLPT N3 certified

Freshers or up to 1-year experience acceptable if JLPT N2 certified

Minimum 3 years of experience required for candidates without certification

Key Responsibilities :

Translate, review, and interpret business and technical documents (emails, reports, presentations, etc.) from Japanese to English and vice versa.

Support communication between Japanese stakeholders and internal teams through calls, meetings, and written correspondence.

Assist in preparing documentation, data reports, and presentations related to pharmaceutical processes or business operations.

Ensure translation accuracy, consistency, and adherence to terminology standards.

Collaborate cross-functionally with project, quality, and regulatory teams for Japan-based clients or operations.

Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection policies.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills :

JLPT N3 / N2 Certification (mandatory)

Bachelor's degree in any discipline; background in Pharma, Life Sciences, or related domain preferred

Strong communication and interpretation skills in both English and Japanese

Familiarity with MS Office tools and business correspondence formats

Ability to handle multiple tasks and interact with multicultural teams
