Job description

Role : User Interface Developer

The User Interface Developer plays a crucial role in translating designs into technical components using HTML / XHTML, collaborating with software engineers to integrate these components into the overall application.

Key Responsibilities :

Participate and assist in software analysis and design
Write unit test cases
Adhere to best practices and coding standards
Conduct unit testing
Participate and assist team leader in Integration
Adhere to defined software processes
Understand steps to reproduce bugs

Requirements :

Strong business communication, analytical and interpersonal skills

Experience implementing standards-based web application user interfaces

Able to cleanly implement a UI across different browsers and platforms

Demonstrated understanding of implementation choices' impact on user experience

Experience integrating rich web interfaces with server-side code

Experience in UI design and engineering of content-based applications

Experience integrating XHTML in languages such as PHP

Experience with XML, Web Services, and Internationalization

The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience working on XHTML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and W3C DOM, along with basic knowledge of Photoshop
