Job Description :

We are looking for a Java + AWS DevOps Support Engineer with strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in both development and support roles. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of AWS services, Java development, and DevOps support activities. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment supporting production systems, deployments, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide DevOps and production support for applications hosted on AWS.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation for deployment, monitoring, and system health checks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support Java-based applications.
  • Monitor systems using AWS CloudWatch and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Perform regular health checks, patching, and maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in rotational shifts to support 24x7 operations.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to resolution.

Technical Skills Required :

  • Strong knowledge of Java and hands-on experience with Java coding.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps / support roles.
  • Working experience with key AWS services, including but not limited to :

    • o S3, EC2, IAM, Lambda, EBS, Oracle databases, SSM, CloudWatch

    o Networking, Firewalls, Connectivity & Storage

  • Exposure to CI / CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring tools.
  • Good understanding of infrastructure management on cloud platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of shell scripting or automation scripting is a plus.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in the financial services domain is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability in previous roles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed team environment.

  • Shifts : Rotational (Must be flexible with shift timings)
