Job Description : -

We are looking for an experienced

Snowflake Administrator

to manage, optimize, and secure our cloud-based data platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with

Snowflake administration ,

DBT workflows , and

data operations

in a modern data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain

Snowflake environments

— manage users, roles, permissions, and resource monitors.

Oversee

warehouse performance , scaling, and cost optimization.

Implement

security controls ,

data access policies , and

governance best practices .

Manage

data pipelines

and

DBT project deployments

in collaboration with the data engineering team.

Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure high availability.

Coordinate

data backup, recovery , and

disaster recovery

procedures.

Automate operational processes and ensure efficient use of Snowflake resources.

Work closely with internal teams for environment setup, migration, and production support.

Required Skills and Experience

6–8 years

of experience in data platform or system administration roles.

Strong hands-on experience in

Snowflake administration

(user management, resource optimization, performance tuning).

Good understanding of

DBT ,

SQL , and

data warehousing concepts .

Experience with

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of

data security, auditing , and

access control

in Snowflake.

Experience managing

Dev / Test / Prod

environments.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

Familiarity with

automation tools

like

Terraform ,

Airflow , or

CI / CD pipelines .

Exposure to

DataOps

and

governance frameworks .

Certification in

Snowflake ,

AWS , or other relevant cloud technologies.
