We need a sales director who can elevate these events to new heights by forging powerful corporate partnerships.

The Opportunity : Shaping the Future of Design

As the Director of Event Sales, you will be the strategic architect of our revenue growth. You&aposll be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing major corporate sponsorships, partnerships, and collaborations. This role is not just about sales; it&aposs about building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with some of the world&aposs largest corporations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on securing major corporate sponsorships for both the India Designer Show and India Design Awards.
  • Corporate Sponsorship Acquisition : Identify and engage with C-suite executives and key decision-makers at leading corporations to secure high-value partnerships.
  • Team Management : Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, setting ambitious targets and providing the guidance and support needed to achieve them.
  • Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with sponsors and partners, ensuring their objectives are met and exceeded.
  • Market Analysis : Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and refine our sales approach.
  • Financial Oversight : Manage sales budgets and provide accurate forecasts and reports to the executive team.

  • Extensive experience in event sales, with a specific focus on securing corporate sponsorships. You should have a proven track record of closing six and seven-figure deals.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage a sales team.
  • A vast network of corporate contacts and a deep understanding of the corporate sponsorship landscape.
  • Superior negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A strategic mindset with a results-oriented approach.
  • A passion for the design and events industries.
