Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Mid-level Optimisely Developer to join our team and help design, implement, and optimize A / B tests and experimentation strategies using the Optimisely platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with front-end development, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making to improve user experiences and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement A / B and multivariate tests using the Optimisely experimentation platform.

Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and UX designers to identify testing opportunities and hypotheses.

Implement front-end changes using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS as part of experiments.

Analyze experiment results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Ensure proper QA and monitoring of live experiments to minimize risk.

Maintain documentation of experiments, test plans, and implementation details.

Stay updated with best practices in experimentation and feature flagging.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to experiments and feature rollouts.

Qualifications :

6-8 years of experience in front-end development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).

Proven experience with Optimisely or similar experimentation platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target).

Strong understanding of A / B testing methodology and statistical significance.

Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar) to analyze experiment data.

Experience with feature flagging and rollout strategies is a plus.

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts and results.

Preferred Qualifications :

Knowledge of React, Angular, or Vue.js frameworks.

Experience with server-side experimentation.

Understanding of data privacy and compliance regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
