Job description

Identify and develop product portfolio opportunities for the US & Canada Market, focusing on Derma, Respi, and Onco Therapy Areas.

Market Analysis :

 Analyse the pharmaceutical market to identify gaps and opportunities.

 Prepare a comprehensive overview of market performance for Glenmark's competition across all dosage forms.

Portfolio Management :

 Generate innovative ideas for both generic and proprietary products.

 Evaluate new opportunities and recommend potential additions to the portfolio.

 Conduct risk assessments of the existing portfolio and develop mitigation strategies.

 Prepare business cases for product or portfolio acquisitions in collaboration with business and Product Development teams.

Planning :

 Develop a Product Grid for the next five years, considering stakeholder complexities such as R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Clinical, and IP.

 Review and challenge the selected Product Grid on a quarterly basis.

Networking :

 Establish and maintain strong cross-functional networks within Glenmark.

 Foster relationships with key suppliers, competitors, dossier developers, manufacturers, and other industry stakeholders.

 Attend various conferences and trade fairs to stay updated on industry trends and developments.

Ad Hoc Duties :

 Provide support for business development efforts related to new market entry initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Ability

 Identify and develop product portfolio opportunities for the US & Canada Market, focusing on Derma, Respi, and Onco Therapy Areas.

 Utilize portfolio experience to drive business development initiatives.

 Demonstrate strong contractual and legal knowledge in managing partnerships and agreements.  Stay updated on current regulatory processes and understand IP issues in pharmaceuticals.

 Utilize existing network of business development contacts to foster partnerships and collaborations.

 Approach challenges with resourcefulness, strategic thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills.

 Ensure timely delivery of quality results in an ethical and professional manner.

 Possess excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

 Utilize business analytics to plan for short and medium-term goals.

 Maintain organization and logic while remaining flexible to adapt to changing circumstances.

 Demonstrate a good understanding of business operations management principles.

Experience : 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Business Development and Portfolio Management, particularly in identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities. Regional or multi-country experience is highly desirable
