Job description

Supervise and manage quality assurance activities at third-party manufacturing / vendor sites.

Conduct regular on-site audits, inspections, and process reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Monitor vendor performance using KPIs (e.g., PPM, delivery quality, audit scores) and initiate improvement plans as needed.

Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Review and approve supplier PPAP, FAI, control plans, and other quality documentation.

Support supplier qualification and onboarding through audits and capability assessments.

Act as a liaison between internal Engineering / Manufacturing teams and supplier quality teams.

Train vendor personnel on quality standards, inspection criteria, and documentation requirements.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ASTM or other applicable quality standards.

Maintain detailed records of vendor quality performance, NCRs, and improvement actions.

Participate in new product introduction (NPI) at vendor sites to ensure robust quality planning.
