The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud migration , VMware , GCVE , GKE , and a strong understanding of networking and security . This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on technical skills and the ability to engage with clients, estimate solutions, and lead delivery teams.Desired Qualifications6+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in GCP cloud engineering.Proven experience in GCP architecture , cloud migration , and presales .Hands-on expertise with VMware , GCVE , and GKE .Strong understanding of networking , firewalls , VPNs , and cloud security .Experience in effort estimation, proposal writing, and client engagement.GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.An ideal candidate should possess : Presales & SolutioningLead client conversations to understand business requirements and translate them into GCP-based solutions.Develop proposals, solution architectures, and effort estimations for cloud migration and modernization projects.Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to support RFPs, RFIs, and client presentations.Cloud Engineering & MigrationArchitect and implement cloud migration strategies from on-premise or other cloud platforms to GCP.Design and deploy solutions using Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) .Provide hands-on guidance and technical leadership during migration and modernization efforts.Infrastructure & SecurityDesign secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure.Implement best practices in network architecture , firewall policies , IAM , and data protection .Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.Leadership & CollaborationMentor and guide engineering teams across multiple projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application, data, and security architects.Stay current with GCP innovations and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.Preferred Skills : Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI / CD pipelines.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsLocation and way of working : Base location : Pan IndiaThis profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.Hybrid is our default way of working.
