Job descriptionProven hands-on experience deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong working knowledge of GKE (Kubernetes), Cloud Run, and Cloud SQL. Experience with VPC design, routing, IAM, and networking configurations. Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Deployment Manager, etc.). Understanding of containerization, Docker images, and artifact management. Knowledge of identity and access controls, service accounts, and workload identity. Experience implementing security controls, encryption, and network isolation. Familiarity with other cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is an advantage. Minimum 4–6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Overview :
Vasman Solutions is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Engineer to implement a highly secure and scalable infrastructure for our cybersecurity SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in Google Cloud architecture, containerized deployments, networking, and database management, with a strong focus on security and scalability following zero-trust principles.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Google Cloud services (GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL).
- Configure and secure VPC networks, private subnets, firewalls, and load balancers for multi-zone and multi-region availability.
- Deploy and manage PostgreSQL (Cloud SQL) with replication, backup, and private access configuration.
- Set up and maintain CI / CD pipelines for automated deployments and updates.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices, least privilege access, and zero-trust architecture.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the application development team to support integration and testing.
- Document the deployment architecture, configuration, and operational procedures.
