Role Description

Identify and engage potential publishing and content partners for collaboration and licensing opportunities. Negotiate partnership agreements, including content access, data-sharing, and licensing terms. Collaborate with the product and technical teams to facilitate API or secure data integrations. Maintain strong relationships with publishers, scholarly societies, and aggregators to explore long-term partnerships. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new partnership opportunities. Ensure all content partnerships comply with data privacy, security, and copyright regulations. Prepare proposals, NDAs, and partnership documents in coordination with legal and management teams. Represent DrillBit at industry events, conferences, and meetings with publishing stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Communication, Publishing, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in publishing, EdTech, content licensing, or partnership management. Strong understanding of academic publishing workflows and journal ecosystems. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple partners and projects simultaneously. Familiarity with APIs, content integrations, and digital licensing models is an advantage.
