E-commerce Marketplace Specialist (Etsy, Myntra, Nykaa)

Role Overview : The E-commerce Marketplace Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end management, strategy, and optimization of our brand's presence across key domestic (Myntra, Nykaa) and international (Etsy) marketplaces. The goal is to drive significant sales growth, enhance brand equity, and ensure seamless operational efficiency on each platform.

Key Responsibilities1. Marketplace Strategy and Optimization (Etsy, Myntra, Nykaa)

  • Listing Management : Create, upload, and maintain high-quality product listings, ensuring accurate information, professional visuals , and competitive pricing across all marketplaces.
  • SEO / Discovery : Optimize all product content (titles, descriptions, keywords, tags, category placement) to maximize organic search ranking and product visibility on each platform's unique algorithm (e.g., Etsy's long-tail search, Myntra's fashion taxonomy, Nykaa's beauty search).
  • Merchandising : Execute platform-specific merchandising strategies, including managing featured products, banner placements, and collection pages to align with brand campaigns and seasonal trends.
  • Campaign Execution : Plan, execute, and manage paid advertising campaigns on each platform (e.g., Myntra Ads, Nykaa Promotions, Etsy Ads). Monitor ad spend, analyze ROI, and optimize campaigns for maximum sales and ACoS efficiency.
  • Promotions : Develop and coordinate promotional calendars, managing discounts, flash sales, and special offers in compliance with marketplace guidelines to drive traffic and conversion.
  • Sales Growth : Continuously monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and traffic, developing and implementing strategies to hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience : Proven 2+ years of hands-on experience in managing and growing sales on major e-commerce marketplaces. Specific experience with Myntra, Nykaa, and Etsy is highly desirable.
  • Platform Proficiency : Strong working knowledge of seller / partner portals for Myntra, Nykaa, and Etsy.
  • Marketing & SEO : Deep understanding of marketplace SEO, keyword research, and the mechanics of marketplace advertising (PPC, sponsored listings).
  • Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with the product categories specific to each platform (e.g., fashion for Myntra, beauty / personal care for Nykaa, or unique / handmade goods for Etsy).
  • Soft Skills : Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
