Job Title : Engineering Manager / Sr Engineering manager

Location : Bengaluru (On-site)

Experience : 8+ years

We're looking for an Engineering Manager who can :

  • Lead and inspire small, high-performance engineering teams
  • Drive engineering excellence while balancing 60% management and 40% hands-on coding
  • Own and optimize infrastructure, architecture, and system design
  • Spearhead product releases, third-party integrations, and CI / CD pipelines
  • Thrive in fast-paced, execution-first environments with aggressive growth targets
  • Collaborate with product, business, and data teams to deliver impact at scale

Responsibilities :

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of features, ensuring high-quality and timely releases
  • Hire, coach, and mentor engineers, building a culture of ownership and performance
  • Design, review, and improve scalable systems and infrastructure
  • Ensure smooth integration with third-party systems, SDKs, and APIs
  • Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to manage uptime, security, and performance
  • Maintain a hands-on approachparticipate in code reviews, POCs, and complex problem-solving
  • Track key engineering metrics, drive continuous improvement in processes
  • Contribute to technology strategy and architectural decisions

    • Requirements :

  • 10+ years of overall experience, with at least 3+ years in engineering management
  • Strong background in Java and Spring Boot (mandatory)
  • Proven experience managing agile teams and delivering complex backend systems
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure) and CI / CD pipelines
  • Deep understanding of system design, microservices, scalability, and high availability
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Startup mindset : comfortable with ambiguity, bias toward action, and high ownership
