As we scale our technology and compliance ecosystem, we’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented IT Risk Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving NMT’s internal security governance and shaping the automation of compliance frameworks as we grow.

Role Overview

The IT Risk Manager will be at the center of NMT’s security, compliance, and technology transformation journey.

You’ll not only design and implement IT risk frameworks and audit processes — you’ll collaborate closely with the tech team to automate compliance workflows , predict regulatory trends , and embed governance into product architecture .

This is a high-impact role that combines risk leadership, policy creation, and technology foresight , reporting directly to the leadership team and working alongside the Founder.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain IT risk management and governance frameworks aligned with ISO 27001, RBI advisories, and the DPDP Act.
  • Partner with the technology team to identify opportunities for automation of compliance and audit processes using NMT’s own platform.
  • Foresee and interpret emerging regulatory and security trends , preparing NMT for upcoming frameworks and standards.
  • Drive audit readiness for certifications such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and RBI inspections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Cybersecurity specialization).
  • 2–5 years of experience in IT audit, risk management, or compliance , preferably within banking or financial services .
  • Deep understanding of information security frameworks and controls (ISO 27001, NIST, RBI, DPDP).
  • Experience with GRC tools, automation workflows, or compliance analytics is a strong plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate policy into actionable, tech-enabled processes .
