DS Mulchandani & Co. - Chief Financial Officer

Position Overview :

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a strategic business partner to the CEO and Board, responsible for driving financial strategy, governance, and transformation across the Group. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with 15+ years of senior finance leadership, ideally in manufacturing, defense, engineering, or non-ferrous metals industries. The role demands proven expertise in banking, taxation, M&A;, IPO readiness, forex, SAP, MIS, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities :

• Partner with the CEO / Board to develop financial strategies aligned with the Group's aggressive growth in India and abroad.
• Monitor, analyze, and continuously improve the Group's key financial ratios (ROCE, ROE, EBITDA margin, debt-equity, working capital cycle, etc.).
• Manage banking relationships, fundraising, working capital, treasury, and forex.
• Oversee taxation, compliance, and regulatory governance (RBI, FEMA, SEBI, etc.).
• Lead M&A; due diligence, valuations, deal structuring, integration, and IPO readiness.
• Prepare the Group for IPO, investor relations, and private equity interactions.
• Drive digitisation and automation through SAP S4 Hana Public Cloud.
• Strengthen internal checks, controls, variance analysis, and MIS.
• Lead AOP, budgeting, forecasting, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Establish and strengthen internal audit and governance systems.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
