" POSITION SUMMARY

Growth is both organic and through a steady stream of acquisitions.

Zoetis is seeking a skilled Developer to join our team in supporting and enhancing our LMS based web application. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in .NET, Azure SQL Database, and modern JavaScript development (Angular preferably). This role contributes to both frontend and backend development, fix bugs, and help implement new features in a collaborative team environment

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain backend services using .NET Core and C#, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability. 25%

Implement responsive frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks (Ex : Angular) 25%

Design and manage data operations using Azure SQL Database, with a focus on efficiency and scalability. 10%

Troubleshoot and resolve platform-wide software issues, ensuring a smooth user experience and system stability. 10%

Collaborate with developers, designers, and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality features 10%

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards and best practices. 5%

Integrate third-party APIs and external services, ensuring seamless functionality across systems. 5%

Participate in code reviews and agile development ceremonies, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. 5%

Participate and Support deployment and release activities in Azure environments, ensuring smooth delivery and rollouts. 5%

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
3-5 years of professional experience in Web development with a focus on .NET (C#) and Modern JavaScript’s (Angular preferably).
Experience collaborating in agile, team-based environments with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Proficient in .NET Core and C#, with hands-on experience developing and maintaining web applications.

Working experience with Azure SQL Database and familiarity with related Azure services (App Services, Blob Storage, etc.).

Strong knowledge of at least one modern JavaScript framework such as Angular, React, or Vue (Angular preferably).

Solid understanding of RESTful API development, authentication, and application security best practices.

Exposure to eLearning standards such as SCORM and xAPI for content delivery, tracking, and system interoperability is a plus.

Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in a fast-paced Scrum environment

Experience with work management tools like Jira, ServiceNow is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Flexibility to work times with at least 4 hr. overlap with US EST Time zone.
