Role :
- Design & Development of Mechanical Engineering systems including Linkages, Kinematics, Structures.
- Preparing overall equipment layout and maintain in PLM
Design Engineer – Mechanical (Hydraulics) :
Role :
Design & Development of Hydraulic System of mobile / Industrial equipment.Creation of hydraulic circuits, Sizing and Selection of hydraulic components like motors, pumps and valves etc..Design Engineer – Mechanical (Drive systems) :
Role :
Sizing and selection of drive train items like engine, AVM, coupling, gearbox, axles etc..Preparing drive line layout and maintain in PLMResponsibilities
Cost Reduction activities through VA (Value Analysis) / VE (Value Engineering) and Workout Counter measures for field issuesCoordinate with vendors and external agencies for selection and validationDesign Concept creation, detailed design including routing for Engine accessories and release of Engineering drawings and customer documentsBenchmarking, Design optimization, product validation and improving reliabilityImplementing the Statutory and Safety standards requirements.Technical Documentation- test protocols, Spare parts Manual and Operation manualCo-ordination with procurement, assembly and testingKnowledge & Exposure :
Knowledge of CAD, structural design calculations, Linkage synthesis, Project Management, Failure Analysis / counter measures, DFMEA, DFM & other design tools.Preparation of Loading and boundary conditions for FEA and interpret FEA results.3D CAD Tools, CREO (Preferred), PLM(Windchill Preferred), MS office tools.Hands on experience in attending Customer complaints reported from field machines and performing Root Cause analysis and providing solutionsKnowledge of reviewing BOMs and ECOs in ERP systems like SAPKnowledge on Fabrication, welding, manufacturing processesCreative and analytically strong with good engineering fundamentalsGood communication skills
