Detailed Responsibilities :
Financial Reporting and Analysis :
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Conduct in-depth P&L reviews, analyzing variances and trends
- Prepare detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and decision-making
Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) Management :
Oversee the entire AR / AP cycle, ensuring accuracy and timelinessImplement and maintain effective credit control policiesManage cash flow by optimizing collection processes and payment schedulesResolve complex AR / AP issues and discrepanciesMonth-End Close Activities :
Coordinate and execute all aspects of the month-end close processEnsure accuracy of general ledger accounts through reconciliationsReview and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustmentsPrepare month-end financial packages and present findings to senior managementBudgeting and Forecasting :
Assist in developing annual budgets and periodic forecastsAnalyze budget vs. actual variances and provide explanationsSupport long-term financial planning and modelingCollaborate with department heads to gather input for budgeting processCompliance and Regulatory Reporting :
Ensure compliance with Billing, TDS, and GST lawsOversee the preparation and filing of GST returnsMonitor changes in financial regulations and update processes accordinglyAssist in managing external audits and liaising with auditorsClient Relationship and Stakeholder Management :
Act as a key point of contact for clients on financial mattersBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersCommunicate financial information effectively to non-finance personnelRespond to inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional mannerProcess Improvement and Automation :
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savingsImplement automation tools to increase efficiency in accounting processesDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures for the accounting departmentTeam Management and Development :
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staffAssign tasks and monitor work progress of team membersProvide training and guidance on accounting principles and best practicesConduct performance evaluations and support professional development of team membersFinancial Systems and Controls :
Maintain and improve internal financial controlsEnsure proper documentation and adherence to accounting policiesCollaborate with IT department to enhance financial systems and reporting toolsSpecial Projects and Ad-hoc Analysis :
Lead or participate in special financial projects as assignedConduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support management decisionsAssist in due diligence processes for potential mergers or acquisitionsThis role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
Qualifications :
B.Com graduate with MBA in Finance or CA Inter5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and financeStrong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax regulationsProficiency in financial software and MS Office suiteExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsSkills Required
