Job description

Job Description : Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with 4–6 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate has strong computer science fundamentals, proven experience in end-to-end project delivery, and hands-on expertise in building scalable systems. You will work as an individual contributor, collaborating with cross-functional teams while ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.

Must Have Skills

  • Strong programming skills in Python with solid computer science basics (HTML, Networking, system concepts, databases).
  • Exposure to common python libraries (Pandas, Numpy, Pydantic)
  • Experience with FastAPI and building production-grade APIs.
  • Hands-on expertise with Docker or Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of system design principles (scalability, performance, maintainability).
  • Proficiency with pytest and writing robust unit / integration tests.
  • Experience working on and delivering end-to-end projects as an individual contributor.
  • Proficiency in Git, and at least one of Linux / Bash for development and deployment workflows.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to machine learning workflows or data-heavy applications.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, and event driven architecture
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
  • Familiarity with design patterns and advanced software engineering practices.
  • Exposure to ML systems and fundamentals.
