Content Strategy Lead

This is a contract role of 1 year. The role of a content strategist involves conceptualizing short-, medium-, and long-term strategies through which universities can disseminate the research they do by converting complex and technical scientific content across STEM fields into various simple, easy-to-digest and engaging collateral such as research stories, press releases, social media posts, and storyboards for graphical summaries, infographics, brochures, flyers, posters, videos etc. for research dissemination, promotion, and marketing purposes. The strategy should align with customer goals and be tailored to maximize impact and return on investment.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the client's goals and creating a strategy for how they can achieve that through various communication collateral and channels.
• Using your own understanding of science promotion, the publication landscape, etc. to advise the client of what might result in maximum impact.
• Providing a clear content direction to the internal team of writers and designers to achieve the required output.
• Managing a group of freelancers and contractual writers and overseeing the production of research stories, feature articles, press releases, social media posts, research videos, research infographics, brochures, annual reports, etc.
• Collaboration with studio team for producing multimedia collateral that align with your vision and the customer's goals .
• Ensuring high quality and on-time delivery.
