Security Administrator
to join
its Cyber
Security Unit (CSU)
team within
GTI
About the Role :
This is a security administration position to complement our current onshore CSU presence. The position will allow the individual to display their strong skills in security and gain exposure to new technologies and opportunities within the Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) department.
The position will support our perimeter security and connectivity platforms and internal authorization systems. The individual will report to a US based CSU manager and will support our systems, troubleshoot user connectivity issues, and provide assistance to application teams when needed.
The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
The candidate will support and upgrade our existing CSU devices, troubleshoot and support users and application teams with firewall related tasks, and look to develop, test and implement automation to reduce manual tasks. The role will also include project related tasks and working with other teams within IT to support their projects and issues. Planning and execution of task lists will be crucial to avoid any business impact.
The position offers an opportunity for the security administrator to learn different technology, as well as the overall infrastructure deployed in Client to support our businesses globally. The successful candidate will work closely with users, vendors, and other infrastructure professionals to support and maintain our firewall, proxy and other security platforms.
Qualifications, Experience, and Education :
Bachelor’s degree – Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Cyber Security
The candidate will need to possess strong systems development skills as well as analytical and problem-solving skills. We are looking for a highly motivated and result-oriented skilled professional who can support our diverse clients.
Required Skills and Techniques :
Firewall administration
FortiGate and Juniper experience a plus
Strong understanding of firewall technologies
Solid troubleshooting skills and understanding of network tools such as traceroute
Proxy support and administration
DNS and FTP experience a plus
Azure and AWS experience a plus
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language
Proficiency in CI / CD for Azure DevOps and Jenkins
Good communication skills, written and verbal
