Role Overview

We’re hiring a Node.js Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale the backend infrastructure powering our apps. You’ll own services end-to-end, collaborate closely with the founder / designers, and help shape our technical direction.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement high-quality backend architecture and microservices
• Build secure, well-documented APIs and data models
• Set up and manage cloud infrastructure (servers, EC2, S3, networking, CI / CD)
• Create AI workflows (image-based identification, AI chat) with production pipelines
• Choose the tech stack and lead key architectural decisions
• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost; monitor and debug in production
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate product requirements into technical specs
• Deploy on AWS / GCP and manage cloud resources effectively
• Contribute to hiring and team building
