Role Summary

Lead and manage the HR function, driving strategic initiatives across HR operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and culture-building. Mentor HR teams, ensure compliance, and implement people processes that align with business goals to support organizational growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a lean PNC & TA team, setting clear KPIs, balancing workloads and driving accountability
  • Oversee global mobility and travel operations : visas, deputations, travel policy compliance and budget control.
  • Own HR policy governance, audit readiness, and end-to-end HR administration (payroll, statutory filings, onboarding / offboarding).
  • Champion employee experience : office amenities, wellness programs, pulse surveys and rapid-response action plans.
  • Own culture-building strategy and execution—design targeted initiatives, workshops and recognition programs to boost engagement and reduce attrition.
  • Embed SteepGraph’s 5-DNA through team-led workshops, leadership forums and signature events (Annual Day, Fun Fridays).
  • Design and approve total-rewards framework : salary cycles, incentives, spot awards and ESOP communications.
  • Prioritize and review Learning & Development : SteepGraph University curriculum, certification tracking and impact reporting.
  • Drive CSR strategy and employer branding in collaboration with TA on social media, Glassdoor and campus outreach.
  • Own Talent Acquisition and HR governance : sourcing, screening, offers, TA metrics, complex escalations, HRIS data integrity and HR-tech optimizations.

Required Skills

  • Post Graduation / Master’s in Human Resource Management from a recognized university or institute.
  • Around 15+ years of relevant experience in Human Resource Management, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure and analyze HR and people performance for data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficient in MS Office with working knowledge of HRIS systems such as SuccessFactors or Workday (preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, influence, and engage effectively at all organizational levels to drive results.
